Language of the Heart
The Language of the Heart series of bilingual storytimes introduces children to a variety of the diverse cultures and languages in West Bloomfield. Enjoy stories, songs, games and traditions from around the world. This program is suitable for families with children of all ages.
No registration is required.

Chaldean Tuesday, December 28 at 7 PM (approximately 45 minutes) Main Library Meeting Room
Join us for a storytime in Neo-Aramaic with English translation presented by Rimando Jirges Mery. Hear a popular children's picture book read in both languages, learn traditional Chaldean songs, see festive ethnic clothing, play a popular Iraqi children's game and sample a tasty culinary delicacy.
Spanish Saturday, March 5 at 2 PM (approximately 45 minutes) Main Library Youth Activity Center
Join us for a storytime in Spanish with English translation. Spanish stories will be shared in both languages followed by cultural songs, dances and games.
